This page explains how to delete your Fitkolo account and everything on it — from inside the app, or by writing to us if you no longer have the app installed. It also sets out exactly what is deleted, what is kept, and for how long. Deleting an account cannot be undone.
The deletion happens straight away and you are signed out. There is no waiting period and no way to recover the account afterwards — if you only want a break, switch your profile off in the Profile tab instead, which hides you from other users and keeps everything.
Write to support@fitkolo.com with the subject “Delete my account”. You do not need the app installed.
If you joined the trainer waitlist on this website but never created an account, there is nothing to delete in the app — email the same address and we will remove your waitlist entry.
We take a backup every night and keep 14 nights. Your data is gone from the live service immediately, and disappears from those backups within 14 days. Backups are never used to restore an individual account.
Deleting your Fitkolo account does not delete your Google or Apple account — we never had your password, only a confirmation from them that the sign-in was really you. What can remain is the entry saying Fitkolo is connected to it.
Sign in with Apple — we handle this for you. Deleting your account also revokes Fitkolo's access to your Apple ID, so it stops appearing in your list of apps by itself. If you last signed in from an older version of the app we may have nothing left to revoke with; in that case remove it yourself on your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → Fitkolo → Stop using Apple ID (the exact wording depends on your iOS version).
Google — handled too, if you deleted from the app. Deleting your account in a current version of the app also disconnects Fitkolo from your Google account. If you asked us to delete it by email instead, or you were on an older version, that has to be done by hand — we can only disconnect Google from the app itself, never from our server. Remove it at myaccount.google.com/connections → Fitkolo → remove access. There is nothing behind that entry once your account is deleted: it grants no access to anything of yours and we can no longer read it. (Google renames that page from time to time — look for third-party apps or connections.)
